<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas cooking stove having good combustion at a stove burner, capable of smoothly supplying primary air to the stove burner and supplying a sufficient amount of primary air, even if the stove is installed on a counter top. <P>SOLUTION: A gas cooking stove includes a stove body 4 provided in a counter top, a top plate 5 provided on the counter top 2, and a stove burner 6. The stove burner 6 includes a burner head 15, a throat part 16, a holder part 17, and a nozzle 24 which jets fuel gas from below the throat part, with the periphery in a horizontal direction of the nozzle 24 being a primary air suction part 25 into the throat part 16. The top plate part 5 includes a top surface plate 10 and a frame 11. The frame 11 includes at least primary air suction openings 28 and 29 which open horizontally on each of sidewall surfaces facing each other.
