<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for detecting rope swinging of an elevator determining good/bad of a sensor by a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: The device for detecting rope swinging which detects swinging of a long object in an elevator shaft includes a detection sensor which is disposed in the elevator shaft, and whose detection shaft is arranged at a position where it is not blocked by the long object less in swinging than a regulated amount which has been defined in advance, is blocked by the long object more in swinging than the regulated amount and is blocked by at least one of both of a car and a balance weight moving up and down in the elevator shaft along their moving up and down routes, and which outputs a detection signal when the detection shaft is blocked, a position detector detecting the position of at least the one of the both in the elevator shaft, and a determinator determining good/bad of a detecting operation of the detection sensor from the detection signal of the detection sensor and a detection result of the position detector. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
