PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a bumper device for a vehicle capable of preventing breakage of a bumper during the vehicle running along a flooded road and the like while suppressing increase in bumper weight and cost.

SOLUTION: A plurality of brackets 18 are disposed in a vehicle frame member 5 at intervals in a vehicle width direction so as to be protruded to a space A of the bumper 3 and a swelling part 3' swelling to a vehicle front side is formed at a part corresponding to each bracket 18 of the bumper 3.
