<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital set top unit which is extended according to the needs of a user, maintains the structural integration after the extension, and enables easy operation. <P>SOLUTION: A digital set top unit includes: a first body 1 including a first housing 11, a first extension circuit board 12, and a first circuit board 13. The first housing 11 has a fifth opening 113, a first combination surface 111, and a second combination surface 112. The first combination surface 111 has a first joining part 1111 and a first opening 1112. The second combination surface 112 has a second joining part 1121 and a second opening 1122.
