<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conveyor that enhances protection of a lateral charge movement (LCM) to expand the life of a photoreceptor in order to solve a problem in which: an overcoat layer is used to expand the life of a photoreceptor, protect a photosensitive layer, and improve performance; however, an overcoat layer is inferior in LCM, has large torque, and does not provide sufficient protection. <P>SOLUTION: A conveying member to be used for an image forming apparatus includes a support member, and a layer including an elastomer matrix arranged on the support member.
