<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a support body holding device and a wall storing device provided with the support body holding device in which workability in moving the attached object along right and left of the wall surface can be improved, while improving holding strength for the attached object such as side panels. <P>SOLUTION: The support body holding device 10 is equipped with slide grooves 12, 12 along the respective longitudinal directions, and it includes upper and lower guide rails 11, 11A disposed respectively nearly horizontally along a wall surface 2 at an interval in up-and-down direction upper and lower holding members 20, 20A holding top and bottom ends of the support body 31 respectively, each of which can freely slide along the longitudinal direction of the slide groove of these upper and lower guide rails and formed in an elongated shape in up-and-down direction. The lower holding member of these upper and lower holding members is equipped with a lower part roller 24 which is abutting on the floor 3 and can travel along in the sliding direction on the floor.
