PURPOSE: An electrophoretic display device and a manufacturing method of the same are provided to smoothly attach an upper substrate to a lower substrate using sealing patterns and a sealant and to seal a display solvent included in the upper substrate, thereby improving manufacture efficiency. CONSTITUTION: A partition(130) formed on a first substrate(100) defines multiple unit pixel regions. A display solvent(160) including multiple charged particles(150) and a solvent(155) is filled in the unit pixel regions. A common electrode(210) is formed in a second substrate(200). Sealing patterns(230) formed in a lower part of the common electrode seal the unit pixel regions. The first and second substrates are attached by a sealant(240) which is formed in a gap between the sealing patterns.
