<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pickling method capable of improving productivity in a pickling process and achieving reduction of the running cost even when performing a continuous annealing and pickling on a 15Cr-1Si-0.5Nb-low-C steel. <P>SOLUTION: A pickling temperature controller for a stainless steel strip 1 includes: a block-type heat exchanger 8 made of impermeable graphite, arranged in a continuous annealing and pickling line for a stainless cold rolled steel strip and exchanging heat between an acid liquid 4 for nitric hydrofluoric acid pickling and steam 6A or cooling water 6B used as a heat exchange medium 6; and a heat exchange medium switcher 9 switching the heat exchange medium to be supplied to the heat exchanger between the steam and the cooling water. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
