<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that, in a band region of a predetermined band size, when inspecting a print by aligning and comparing both a document image and an inspection image while using feature points for the alignment of both the images, accuracy of alignment may be reduced by insufficient information of the feature points in some band regions and accurate inspection may not be performed. <P>SOLUTION: In a band region of a predetermined band size, a document image and an inspection image are aligned while using information about feature points in a band region of a predetermined band size and information about feature points in a region adjacent to the band region, and a print is inspected based on the comparison of both the images. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
