<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermal transfer image receiving sheet that has excellent durability including scratch resistance of printed images, characters and the like, and can be used as a glossy trading card having clear photos and illustrations and can be efficiently manufactured, and to provide printed matter and a method for manufacturing the printed matter. <P>SOLUTION: The thermal transfer image receiving sheet includes: a first base material; a receiving layer formed on one surface of the first base material; and a second base material provided on the other surface of the first base material through an adhesive layer. The thermal transfer image receiving sheet is composed of a card type body and an accessory adjacent thereto, wherein a cut is formed along the boundary between the body and the accessory and the accessory is folded relative to the body along the cut to be separated therefrom. The thermal transfer image receiving sheet in this configuration can form a clear thermal transfer image, and can also form different types of images on-demand. Furthermore, using the cut and folding the sheet at the cut, the sheet can be separated into printed matter of a predetermined size with ease. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
