<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an absorbent article which can increase air-permeability to improve a feel when it is being worn. <P>SOLUTION: The absorbent article 1 includes an absorbent body 4 arranged between a surface sheet 2 and a back sheet 3, and a side gather 60. The side gather 60 is formed by gluing stretchable members among a plurality of laminated side sheets. The stretchable members which include first stretchable members 71 and second stretchable members 72, the length of the stretchable members is shorter than that of the side sheets. First non-glued areas 62A, in which the laminated side sheets are not glued with each other, are set outside a longitudinal direction of the first stretchable members and the second stretchable members. Second non-glued areas 62B, in which the laminated side sheets are not glued with each other, are set between the first stretchable members and the second stretchable members.
