<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a weld bead position detection method and a weld bead position detection device for detecting a position of the latest weld bead position even in the case of multilayer welding of a small number of reliefs of weld bead. <P>SOLUTION: In detecting a shape of the latest weld bead in the multilayer welding, position matching processing is performed where the following processes are repeated: a measuring point selection process B1 for selecting a plurality of measuring points for both model measurement data before building up the latest weld bead and latest measurement data of the latest weld bead; an association process B2 for associating measuring points of the model measurement data with measuring points of the latest measurement data; a restriction setting process B3 for setting distance threshold and angle threshold between respective measuring points of the model measurement data and of the latest measurement data; and a model position conversion process B4 for matching the model measurement data with the latest measurement data on the basis of the distance threshold and angle threshold so as to minimize a distance between the respective measuring points of the model measurement data and the latest measurement data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
