<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an airbag for a passenger seat which reduces an impact on an interference object by making a gas in the airbag quickly flow out from a vent hole when the airbag for the passenger seat is started to be inflated and developed in a state that the interference object is adjacent to an instrument panel. <P>SOLUTION: When the gas from an inflator 30 flows into an airbag body 10 and the airbag body 10 is started to be inflated, a left fold body 10c and a right fold body 10d are quickly inflated to be projected to the right and left side direction because the fold bodies 10c, 10d are accordion-folded. Because the vent hole 11 is positioned to be exposed on the upper surface of the fold bodies, the gas flows out from the inside of the fold bodies 10c, 10d through the vent hole 11 immediately after the fold bodies 10c, 10d are started to be inflated. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
