<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical cable protective member having a new structure, which allows assembling of an optical capable in a wire harness while reducing probabilities of causing damages or a transmission loss of the optical cable, and to provide a wire harness having a new structure using the above protective member. <P>SOLUTION: An optical cable protective member 12 is used, which has a cylindrical shape to be externally applied on an optical cable 14 and has a plurality of wire guide grooves 22 on an outer peripheral surface 20 thereof.
