<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wavelength selection switch that can suppress occurrence of crosstalk despite its small-sized configuration in which a light collecting mirror is arranged in an optical path between a dispersing element and a deflector. <P>SOLUTION: A wavelength selection switch 1 includes: an input/output section 10 having a plurality of input/output ports through which a signal light is input or output; a light collecting mirror 14 in an optical path of the signal light from the input/output section; a dispersing element 13 having a dispersing section and a non-dispersing section; and a plurality of deflecting elements 16 arranged in directions in which the signal light has been dispersed. The light collecting mirror 14 allows the signal light from the input/output section 10 to enter the dispersing section of the dispersing element 13 and collects lights dispersed by the dispersing section 13 into the deflecting elements 16 via the non-dispersing section.
