<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electrophotographic printing device that gives a clear and high-quality printed medium by increasing the surface smoothness of a recording medium by using a transparent toner. <P>SOLUTION: An electrophotographic printing device 101a is an electrophotographic printing device for printing a toner image of a color toner containing a pigment on a print medium P1, and is equipped not only with a unit UT for developing an image with a color toner but also with a unit YUA for developing an image with a transparent toner. The device includes: transparent toner printing means 101a, which prints a transparent toner image in an uppermost layer of the print medium printed with a color toner; low-temperature release belt fixing means 152a, which presses the print medium printed with the color toner and the transparent toner to melt the toners again and then releases the medium after the temperature is decreased; and embossing means 153a, which embosses the transparent toner layer by pressure onto the print medium. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
