<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a steam turbine system that has incorporated a steam seal header. <P>SOLUTION: A steam turbine system for use in a power generation plant includes a steam seal header that collects steam from seals of a high-pressure steam turbine and an intermediate pressure steam turbine. The collected steam is supplied to a seal of a low-pressure steam turbine, to ensure the seal to provide effective seal for the low-pressure steam turbine. The steam from the low-pressure steam turbine is also collected at the steam seal header, and this is mixed with steam collected from the high-pressure and intermediate pressure seals.
