<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a medical image display device and medical image display method for correcting an MIP image not suitable for diagnosis with a simple operation and displaying the image. <P>SOLUTION: The medical image display device includes: an image generation part for generating an MIP image by using second three-dimensional image data that is obtained by deleting a specific area from first three-dimensional image data acquired by a medical image diagnostic apparatus; and an image display part for displaying the MIP image. The device also includes: a two-dimensional region-of-interest (ROI) setting part for setting a two-dimensional ROI on the MIP image; a three-dimensional ROI setting part for setting a three-dimensional ROI, based on the two-dimensional ROI; and a correction part for correcting the specific area by adding change to an area that is not deviated from the three-dimensional ROI within the specific area. The image generation part re-generates the MIP image by using third three-dimensional image data that is obtained by deleting the corrected specific area from the first three-dimensional image data. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
