PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively utilize resources without spoiling convenience of an operator.

SOLUTION: The stethoscope 1 includes a condition agreement decision section 203, a communication control section 204 or a storage control section 205. In this case, the condition agreement decision section 203 decides that living body sounds are included in the sound conforming to a fact that a sound shown by acquired sound information satisfies specified conditions. The communication control section 204 starts the transmission process of the acquired sound information to a terminal device 60 when the inclusion of the living body sounds in the sound shown by the acquired sound information has been ascertained. The storage control section 205 starts the storage process of the acquired sound information to a storage section 40 when the inclusion of the living body sounds in the sound shown by the acquired sound information has been ascertained.
