<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotatable connector for an endoscope, capable of being easily operated and safely protecting a component such as an optical fiber electric system which is easily affected by the endoscope. <P>SOLUTION: The rotatable connector 300 is formed inside a console 116 for connecting the endoscope to the console 116. The rotatable connector 300 includes: a fixed part 304 disposed in the console 116 for attaching the rotatable connector 300 to the console 116; and a rotating part attached to one fixed part 304, rotatable relative to the fixed part 304, and configured to receive the connector 300. The rotatable connector 300 enables rotation of the endoscope while eliminating twisting of a proximal shaft 114 connecting the endoscope to the console 116. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
