<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device, a method for driving the display device, and an electronic apparatus having the display device, which can normally perform operations of a pixel circuit even if a bootstrap gain is relatively small. <P>SOLUTION: In the display device, the pixel circuit is arranged which comprises: a drive transistor for driving an electro-optical element; a write transistor for sampling a signal from a signal line; and a capacitance element for holding a voltage according to the signal from the signal line and applying a potential according to the voltage to a gate of the drive transistor. A gate electrode of the drive transistor is put in a floating state when a potential of one source/drain electrode of the drive transistor is changed by current flowing through the drive transistor with a predetermined potential being applied to the gate electrode of the drive transistor. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
