PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress decrease in the brightness due to a white balance adjustment.

SOLUTION: In a white balance adjustment method for adjusting gains for each primary color in a display so that display colors in the display when displaying a white image, are contained in a predetermined target range in a color space, convergent points of the display colors included in the target range are set so that a decrease in the brightness of the display colors of the display is smaller.
