<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement a bill depositing and withdrawing machine in which a mechanism of a cash deposit/withdrawal port is simplified in comparison with conventional mechanisms, and a bill processing device. <P>SOLUTION: When cash is received, bills rejected from being deposited which are determined to be inadequate to be deposited, out of bills thrown into a cash deposit/withdrawal port 21 are conveyed to a distributing conveyance path 27 and are temporarily stored in the distributing conveyance path 27. This configuration allows, for example, the bills rejected from being deposited to be temporarily stored to the distributing conveyance path 27 till the completion of, for example, deposited cash counting processing without providing the cash deposit/withdrawal port 21 with a conventional partition and allows the bills rejected from being deposited to be returned to the cash deposit/withdrawal port 21 and be returned to a user after the completion of the deposited cash counting processing. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
