<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure a tube wall portion corresponding to a measurement result through simple and cost-reduced means in an intra-tube insertion type flaw inspection device comprising an ultrasonic probe which is moved with a stream of water. <P>SOLUTION: An acceleration sensor accommodation part 24 of an ultrasonic probe 20 includes an acceleration sensor 36 which detects the acceleration of the ultrasonic probe 20. Combination information linking echo signal data and acceleration data obtained by the acceleration sensor 36 is stored through an A/D converter 44 into a memory 38. After the end of inspection, the memory 38 is connected to a CPU 48 of a personal computer 46, thickness or flaws on a tube wall are measured from waveforms of echo signals, the acceleration data are integrated temporally, and a measurement position of a tube 10 to be inspected is calculated while defining a portion where a characteristic waveform of echo signals is generated, as a criterion. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
