<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate the optimum trajectory of a set point for maintaining comfortable temperature while reducing energy consumption. <P>SOLUTION: This method is a heating, ventilation, and air-conditioning (HVAC) system 350 of buildings, which is modeled by using a state space, in which the state space includes a set of states and corresponding operations of the respective states, and this system changes from the present state to the next state based on the present state and selected operations. A set of samples is selected in the state space (310), triangulation is performed to the selected set of samples (320), the state space is discretized to simplexes, and each simplex has a set of nodes. For the respective states and the corresponding simplexes, values of the respective nodes are obtained (330), and next, a temperature setting point trajectory of the system is generated based on the values (340). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
