<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an illuminator capable of appropriately notifying a user of a charging voltage required for photographing. <P>SOLUTION: An illuminator comprises: a light emission unit 18 for emitting illumination light for illuminating an object; a capacitor 16 for accumulating electric energy for causing the light emission unit to emit light; a boosting unit 20 for boosting a power source voltage for charging the capacitor; a display unit 26 for displaying a charging state of the capacitor; and a display control unit 14 for allowing the display unit to display the charging state of the capacitor in a stepwise manner. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
