PURPOSE: An exhaust gas treatment apparatus for a sintering machine and a method thereof are provided to improve the effectiveness of sulfur oxides and nitrogen oxides removal by spraying a catalytic agent which is reactive to the sulfur oxides and the nitrogen oxides. CONSTITUTION: An exhaust gas treatment apparatus for a sintering machine includes a filter(20), a first absorption part(30), a main fan(40), a second absorption part(50), and a reactor. The filter removes dust from gas which is discharged from a sintering machine. The first absorption part removes sulfur oxides from the gas through the filter. The main fan heats the gas passing through the first absorption part to the acid dew point or more. The second absorption part removes nitrogen oxides from the gas which is transferred by the main fan. The reactor sprays a catalytic agent to the gas passing through the second absorption part. |
