PURPOSE: A photovoltaic device is provided to improve a short circuit current by forming the width of an emitter region larger than that of a base region. CONSTITUTION: A substrate(110) includes a base region and an emitter region. A first electrode(160) is electrically connected to the base region. The first electrode has a third width covering the base region. A second electrode(170) is electrically connected to the emitter region. The second electrode has a fourth width covering the emitter region.
