<p>PURPOSE: A data processing method of a touch screen and a device thereof are provided to increase sensitivity of touch determination without increasing the number of sensing and decreasing a touch report rate. CONSTITUTION: A touch screen includes Tx lines, Rx lines, and a touch recognition area including the sensor nodes. A touch screen driving circuit(12) receives voltage of the sensor nodes through the Rx lines by applying a driving pulse to the Tx lines and synchronizing the driving pulse. The touch screen driving circuit generates data with touch by sampling the voltage and converting the voltage into digital data. A touch recognition algorithm execution unit(30) maps a predetermined edge detection mask in the data and estimates a coordinate for the touch input based on an edge detection calculation result.</p> |
