The method involves obtaining a parameter (PAP) of a phone call made or received by a terminal (10), where the parameter is chosen from an identifier of a calling or called party in a telephone network, an identifier of the calling or called party in a social network, and an incoming or outgoing character of the call. A database (BD) is interrogated to obtain an identifier of a computer application (APP) e.g. Internet browser, likely to be executed by the terminal, using the call parameter. Execution of the application by the terminal is triggered. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a computer program comprising a set of instructions to implement a phone call processing method (2) a computer readable recording medium comprising a computer program having a set of instructions to implement the phone call processing method (3) a terminal.
