PURPOSE: A damage detector of a conveyor belt is provided to extend the life span of a belt unit detecting the damage of the belt unit which transfers the transferring object and to prevent the blend of the fuel and/or the raw material. CONSTITUTION: A damage detector(100) of the conveyor belt comprises a belt unit(10), a hanger unit(20), a rotation unit(30), a support unit(40) and a sensor unit. The belt unit is operated with an infinite orbit type in a conveyor belt device. The hanger unit is positioned to be separated from the belt unit with the upper and lower part of the belt unit. The rotation unit forms the rotary shaft of the hanging unit while the rotation of the hanging unit being equipped at the both ends of the hanging unit and it is rotated along with the rotation of the hanging unit. The support unit supports the rotation unit allowing rotation to be separated with the hanging unit on the upper and lower part of the belt unit. The sensor unit senses the rotation of the hanging unit. |
