摘要 <p>PURPOSE: An in-electric furnace scrap iron real time measurement apparatus using an induction coil is provided to precisely measure a remaining amount of scrap iron by winding an induction coil consisting of heat-resistant conductive wire to the periphery of a body of an electric furnace with a constant distance up and down and applying AC power with a specific frequency to the induction coil. CONSTITUTION: An in-electric furnace scrap iron real time measurement apparatus includes an induction coil(210), an AC power generator(220), a measurement unit(230) and an analysis system(240). The induction coil consists of a heat-resistant conductive wire(211) wound to a periphery of an electric furnace(100). The AC power generator is electrically connected to the induction coil and applies AC power with a specific frequency. The measurement unit measures current and voltage in an input and output end of the induction coil wound to the electric furnace. The analysis system calculates impedance variation of the induction coil using electric power data of the induction coil including the current data and voltage data measured in the measurement unit and detects a remaining amount of scrap iron in the electric furnace by the calculated impedance variation.</p>
