PURPOSE: A roof frame structure for a railway vehicle and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to reduce the torsion of welded portions and heat deformation due to welding, and to reduce the weight of the roof frame structure with enough durability. CONSTITUTION: A roof frame structure for a railway vehicle comprises a pair of cant rails(100), multiple first roof frames(200), and multiple second roof frames(300). The pair of cant rails is arranged in both sides of the railway vehicle to support a roof panel. The multiple first roof frames are installed along the lateral direction of the railway vehicle at predetermined intervals in order to connect the pair of cant rails. The multiple second roof frames are installed in parallel to the cant rails at a predetermined direction in order to connect the multiple first roof frames. The second roof frames have multiple groove portions(310) to insert the first roof frames. |
