PURPOSE: An electrophoretic display device and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to prevent adherence of charged particles included in an electrophoretic dispersion solution to an upper sealing member by aligning an upper substrate and a lower substrate using a support member in the upper substrate and a partition wall in the lower substrate without using an upper sealing member. CONSTITUTION: A plurality of partition walls(220) are separated from each other on a first substrate(210). A support member(240) is formed on a second substrate(230) and is inserted into the neighboring partition walls of the plurality of partition walls.
