The head has a helicoid segment (11) placed in an annular groove. An assembly slope of the segment emerges in the groove. The assembly slope is a helicoid groove with a helical pitch, which decreases gradually, in direction of the annular groove. Whorls of the segment are separated from each other at distance (d). Radial ends (111, 112) of the segment are placed with each other in a face to face manner along vertical direction and overlapped with each other. A central axis (X) of the whorls coincides with an axis of the head and a combustion chamber. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) an internal combustion engine (2) a method for assembling a segment.
