USING A TWO-TONE COLOR IN ULTEM FRAMES AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PURPOSE: A two-tone color glass frame using an ultem material and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to selectively control a part applied with a color and a polished part by controlling the height of a part on which a glass frame is mounted in a color application mold and a polishing mold respectively when applying a color and polishing. CONSTITUTION: A method of manufacturing a two-tone color glass frame using an ultem material comprises an ultem material injection step, an ultem material molding step, a glass frame injection step, and a glass frame sandblast step. A sand blast step comprises the following steps: a color application step(40) aims to selectively control a part applied with a color in a surface of a glass frame by varying a color application mold; and a step aims to remove a pigment applied in a front surface and a side surface of the glass frame by selectively controlling a part polished by varying a polishing mold. A two tone color on the glass frame is formed by controlling a polished part and an applied color on a surface of the glass frame manufactured with the ultem material.
