PURPOSE: An air conditioner for a vehicle is provided to uniformalize the operation force of a gear shaft by elastically reducing the operation force through an elastic member when operating a thin plate member in the opposite direction of gravity. CONSTITUTION: An air conditioner for a vehicle comprises an air conditioner case(110) and a door(105). The air conditioner case comprises an air inlet and a plurality of air outlets(116). The door comprises a thin plate member(150) and a gear shaft(140). The thin plate member slides inside the air conditioner case. The gear shaft is rotatably installed inside the air conditioner case to operate the thin plate member and is interlocked with the thin plate member. The elastic member(170) connects the gear shaft and thin plate member. The elastic member uniformalizes the operation force of the gear shaft by elastically reducing the operation force through the elastic member when operating a thin plate member in the opposite direction of gravity.
