The method comprises taking a stretchable film made of a plastic material with elongation properties, covering a lower face of a film layer with an adhesive material for preserving the properties of the film, applying a ductile material to a higher face of a reactive layer, and carrying out a partial reaction of the reactive layer. The reactive layer consists of a reactive polymer in a liquid form and an aqueous phase. The reactive layer comprises a liquid solution made of polymers. The method further comprises associating an additive to the ductile material before or during its application. An independent claim is included for a method for affixing a protective self-adhesive film on a three-dimensional surface.
