PURPOSE: A furnace for a rolling mill is provided to improve the quality of a working object by regularly heating the working object through a heating source which is supplied to the bottom side of a working object shielded by a fixed beam or a working beam. CONSTITUTION: A furnace for a rolling mill comprises a fixed beam(22), a cooling passage(22b), and a heating source supplying unit(50). The working object is supported in a skid button(22a) of the fixed beam. The cooling passage is formed in the fixed beam and provided with cooling water. The heating source supplying unit supplies the heating source to the working object supported by the skid button and is positioned in the fixed beam. |
