PURPOSE: A camera module and a method for inspecting horizontality of a subject and the camera module are provided to prevent the distortion of measurement data of the characteristics of the camera module, by inspecting the horizontality of the camera module and the subject. CONSTITUTION: A memory unit(110) stores a look-up table where the number of pixels of a subject image corresponding to the length of a subject is stored. An image signal processing unit(120) detects the number of pixels of the subject image photographed in an image sensor(100), and reads the subject length corresponding to the number of detected pixels.
