PURPOSE: A system for controlling an oil pump for a vehicle is provided to transform a relief valve into a shape for electric control and to actively control oil pressure at the outlet of the pump. CONSTITUTION: A system for controlling an oil pump for a vehicle includes the oil pump (110), an oil pressure control valve (112), and a controller (130). The oil pump feeds oil to an engine. The oil pressure control valve controls oil pressure at the outlet of the pump. The controller controls the oil pressure control valve in order to maintain the oil pressure at the outlet of the pump within a predetermined range in response to information about the oil pressure and driving condition of the engine among vehicle information from outside.
