摘要 <p>PURPOSE: A binder using magnesium thermal-reduction slag is provided to replace Portland cement by mixing reduction slag created in the magnesium heat reduction process with the Portland cement. CONSTITUTION: A binder using magnesium thermal-reduction slag comprises 20-30 wt% of magnesium thermal-reduction slag and 70-80 wt% of Portland cement. The magnesium heat reduction slag uses ferrosilicon alloy(75%Si-Fe) as a reducing agent. The magnesium heat reduction slag comprises 53-57 wt% of calcium oxide(CaO), 33-36 wt% of silica(SiO2), 1-2 wt% of alumina(Al2O3), 4-6 wt% of ferric oxide(Fe2O3) and 2-4 wt% of magnesium oxide(MgO). The magnesium heat reduction slag is pulverized using a ball mill and passed through 50-60 micro meters sieve. The magnesium heat reduction slag and the Portland cement are mixed at a relative rate and 15-25 wt% of water is mixed.</p>
