PURPOSE: A melt flow state estimation method of the lower part of a furnace is provided to work in an accurate prediction of the state of the core according to the melt flow index determined by the temperature and the temperature correlation coefficient. CONSTITUTION: A melt flow state estimation method of the lower part of a furnace comprises the step of measuring the temperature of multiple iron notches(10-40) of a furnace and the temperature the wall part between the iron notches, and the step of determining the state of the melt flow between the iron notches based on the temperature of the iron notches and the wall part. The step of calculating melt flow index is added to calculate the melt flow index each of the multiple iron notches based on the following formula: melt flow index=T1/(T2+T3)/2. The step of determining determines the melt flow state between the iron notches based on the melt flow index. The step of temperature correlation coefficient calculation is added to calculate the temperature correlation coefficient for a determined period in the iron notches mutually facing in a diagonal direction of the iron notches according to the following formula. The step of determining determines the melt flow state between the iron notches based on the melt flow index and the temperature correlation coefficient. |
