PURPOSE: A form to write a zip code of an envelope for an OMR(Optical Mark Reader) is provided to improve the rate of recognizing the number of the zip code through a sign generated by an OCR(Optical Character Reader) method because the number is marked by hand. CONSTITUTION: A form to write a zip code of an envelope for an OMR comprises an original character symbol at each zip code to mark the original character symbol corresponding to the number of the zip code. A device for recognizing the zip code recognizes by the OMR method recognizing a marked symbol from an existing OCR method recognizing the character.
