The invention relates to a method for protecting the skin against UV rays, using two UV protection cosmetic compositions having different sun protection factors, said method consisting in: applying, to the skin prior to or during exposure to the sun, a first composition having a certain sun protection factor and, subsequently, during exposure to the sun, applying the second cosmetic composition on the residual deposit of the first composition, said second composition having a lower sun protection factor than the first composition. Advantageously, with this method it is not necessary to reapply the first composition, but instead a second product that is much nicer to use can be applied, while retaining the level of protection provided by the deposit of the initial first composition. The invention also relates to a sun protection kit comprising a first UV ray protection composition having a sun protection factor greater than or equal to 30 and at least one second UV ray protection cosmetic composition having a sun protection factor lower than or equal to 20, said two compositions being packaged separately. |
