The invention relates to a damping arrangement for rails, such as grooved or Vignoles rails. The problem addressed by the invention is that of enabling a simple, cost-effective and optimally flexible damping and/or isolation of rails. To this end, the present invention provides a damping arrangement (1) for a rail (2) with a rail head (3), a rail web (4) and a rail foot (5), with the damping arrangement (1) comprising at least one lateral profile (7, 8) and a cast base (9) arranged underneath the rail foot (5). The lateral profile (7, 8) is in contact with the rail (2) substantially over the entire profile length, reaches over the edge (6) of the rail foot (5) from the upper side (10) of the rail foot (5) facing the rail head (3), and is enclosed by the cast base (9) in the area of the rail foot edge (6). |
