Provided are a terminal for connecting a radio wide area network and a power carrier network, a charging device and method. The terminal includes a wide area network communication module, a power source module, a signal conversion module and a power carrier modulation and demodulation module. The wide area network communication module transmits signals with a radio wide area network. The power source module sends a signal from the power carrier modulation and demodulation module to a power carrier network. The signal conversion module converts a signal from the wide area network communication module into a local area network signal to be sent to the power carrier modulation and demodulation module and converts a signal from the power carrier modulation and demodulation module into a radio wide area network signal to be sent to the wide area network communication module. The power carrier modulation and demodulation module loads the local area network signal from the signal conversion module onto a power signal to be sent to the power source module, and demodulates the local area network signal from the power source module to be sent to the signal conversion module. The connection of a radio wide area network and a power carrier network is realized.
