<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a curable composition for an optical semiconductor device capable of obtaining a cured product which has high heat resistance, can maintain excellent transparency, and can impart high gas corrosion resistance to a corrosive gas. <P>SOLUTION: The curable composition for the optical semiconductor device contains a first organopolysiloxane that has an alkenyl group, a second organopolysiloxane that has a hydrogen atom bound to a silicon atom, a hydrosilylation reaction catalyst, and particles formed of a zinc compound.
