<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a moving unit suspending a microscope which can be moved to an appropriate position for an examination table on which a patient is seated when a doctor uses the microscope and moved to a position not forming any obstacle when not in use. <P>SOLUTION: A gate type microscope support frame 1 is formed by a ceiling material 2 and a lateral side material 3. The microscope 5 is movably and rotatably suspended from an optional place of the ceiling material 2 via an arm 4 in X-Y-Z directions and casters 6 are arranged on a lower surface of the lateral side material 3.
