<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus hardly affected by environmental variations and variety of document data when forming images on various kinds of transfer paper brands. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: information reception means 102 for receiving an input of transfer paper identification information; image formation means 111, etc. for applying a control value in an image formation process corresponding to the received transfer paper identification information to an image formation process to form images; document image data acquisition means 131, etc. for acquiring document image data of images; output image data generation means 201 for optically reading images formed on transfer paper to generate output image data; printed matter inspection means 142 for comparing document image data with the output image data for each output image data on one page to detect an image quality abnormality of the output image data; and correction value preparation means 143 for preparing a correction value of a control value for reducing the image quality abnormality on the basis of content and degree of the image quality abnormality and storing the correction value in storage means by making the correction value correspond to the transfer paper identification information, when the image quality abnormality of the output image data is detected. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2013,JPO&INPIT |
